Gosforth and District First Responders Trust
The Trust was established in June 2002 and became a
registered charity in September of that year.

It’s charitable “objectives” are the relief of sickness of
persons residing in Gosforth and the surrounding areas
(Eskdale, Seascale, Ravenglass, Wasdale) … in particular,
by responding to cardio-vascular emergencies.

The Trust carries out fundraising on behalf of each team
and provides all the necessary equipment, at a total cost
of around £3,600, for them to function effectively.
A defibrillator, at £1,756, represents the major item of
expenditure. The contract hire of pagers is also a
considerable but necessary expense.
